mini-symposium

On Wednesday 4th of november Thomas Rau is organizing a mini-symposium about sustainable and healthy schools. This symposium is held in Nationaal Park de Hoge Veluwe, where also the Kröller-Möller museum is located. Maybe it's interesting for those who are fascinated by high schools (me :)), sustainabilty or those who already had the idea to go to the Kröller-Möller.

  1. THE SYMPOSIUM STARTS AT 13:00
I THINK THAT WE COULD MAKE AN EXCURSION ON THAT DAY. THE SCHEDULE COULD BE LIKE:

    10:00-12:00 visit the museum KROLLER-MOLLER
12:00-13:00 have a small lunch, or pick-nick in the
park if the weather is nice
    13:00-15:30 symposium
    15:45-16:45 symposium

FOR THE PEOPLE NOT INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE SYMPOSIUM, OTHER ACTIVITIES CAN BE ARRANGED IN THE PARK DURING THE AFTERNOON.

QUESTION: AFTER A QUICK CHECK, THE TRIP TO THE LOCATION IS A BIT LONG. SEEMS THAT THE TRIP IS GOING TO TAKE AROUND TWO HOURS. WE CAN ALL MEET AT THE TRAIN STATION OF DEN HAAG (since many people do not live in Delft)

  2. I have to join my colleques at the symposium, so I will drive there anyway. If we're going to make an excursion to the Kroller-Moller before, I will have 4 extra places in my car and we can leave earlier.

But, for the foreign students, I will first check if the symposium is in English or Dutch!

  3. Sounds really good!

Radio Kootwijk is a beautiful building in the neighborhood of kroller moller, it would be nice to visit this, although it seems we are on a pretty tight schedule...

  5. This is te oficial site for Radio Kootwijk www.radiokootwijk.com

BUT it is in Dutch so, if someone could tell us how we can arrange a visit to the building, it would be great.

If the symposium is in Dutch, all international students could go there sometime in the afternoon :)

  6. Hi! The symposium is in Dutch, so it won't suit the international students. Sorry! If there are any Dutch students who want to come, I have to know asap so I can sign you up. The invited guests will get priority, so the sooner I know the more chance you'll have.
